Located at the site of a 15th-century slave-trading warehouse in Marina Resort, the museum uses life-size recreations and original artifacts to document Calabar's role as a major port in the transatlantic slave trade. It offers a graphic and moving look at the era, featuring exhibits on slave markets, historical currencies, and the harrowing conditions aboard transport ships.
